This is a dive bar. Trust us when we say that it's unlikely any supermodel or even any cute waif aspiring to be a mannequin has crossed this threshold. Actually maybe not even someone who could look like one if you were legally blind AND that person were 1000 feet away... BUT this place has bragging rights. For years, J Geils (yes sirree Freeze Frame himself) had the recording space right upstairs. The models however don't refer to any centerfold of his; the moniker is for model trains and came to be known so in 1942. The other aspect of cool is that this spot was opened during Prohibition Era and is still owned by the same family, the Anthonys. Has it been cleaned since then? We don't know, but damn the jukebox is fun.
