High end French restaurant owner Eric Aubriot must have realised that not everyone could drop a couple hundy on an all out meal when he opened this late night Lincoln Park lounge above his self-titled Franco- venue. Designed by the people who did Blackbird, this 40 person room with its clear plastic Philippe Starck chairs and squishy beige divans, has the same winning flavour as Eric's down stairs spot but serves up nicoise salad and mussels at a much gentler price and in tapas size from the open viewing kitchen till 1 a.m. The better to leave room for you to wash down those many martini olives.
