For those who just can't get enough of him, the Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago allows one to actually live the Trump experience. With 286 one-, two- and three-bedroom guest suites, it overlooks Lake Michigan and the Chicago River. While not boutiquey like our usual recommendations, we couldn't help but love the over- the- topness of it all. The focus here is the spa. There's 53 guestroom suites that give guests private access to The Spa, the attention of a personal nutritionist, health- focused in- room dining menus, in-room health equipment, and some of The Spa's couples treatment rooms even actually connect directly to the rooms. The rooms come five themes called "Trump Personal Intentions:" Calm, Balance, Purify, Heal, and Revitalize which are matched to jewels: diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and sapphires. A pillow menu comes with aromatic options: Calm (sage, safflower and orange blossom blend), Balance (ylang-ylang, geranium, licorice, fennel and nettle blend), Purify (juniper, grapefruit, sandalwood, artemesia and menthe blend), Heal (chamomile, bergamot, lemongrass and sandalwood blend), and Revitalize (rosemary, basil and lemongrass blend). Sound ostentatious and indulgent? Well, it is. Hey, this is the man who bought Mar- a- Lago if you recall! And if that's not enough for you? Guests can arrange to have a chef cook their meal in- suite, serving the dinner course with the same service at the hotel's restaurant, Sixteen.
