Underneath the jam packed Polpo is this little spot that you get the feeling was opened just as a holding spot or aperitivo spot for the long wait upstairs. However if Campari or Aperol is your thing, you will really love it as it's quite possibly the world's first bar to focus on this mixer and serving drinks based just on it. They even serve bar snacks (just like that ever civilised tradition in Italy) to appease your stomach for that (doesn't it always seem like an) hour long wait for food above.
