Strangely still cool, Hoxton is not your usual Shoreditch stuff. Rather it's for those who've made it and yet refuse to move to Sloane Square. So expect suits and rarefied fashion types guzzling those oh-so-strong drinks from teacups. You choose from the classics; vodka, rum, bourbon, whiskey or gin; and then add juices and herbs to make your drink. There's a weird combination of decor including taxidermied animals mixed with the bare mirrored red and black roomed dance floor, which kind of suits their mix of coffee during the day and drinks at night Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde thing. Guest DJs have included Giles Deacon and Henry Holland which hopefully will help you forget the odd surroundings.
