This former theatre and opera house is what London dance clubs are traditionally known for. A mix of either really great VIP sightings (both Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera have been here) and amazing music (Interpol and others have played here) to downright skanky (they had a multi-million refurb? You wouldn't know it) and questionable (that velvet has seen better days since Dita von Teese performed.) Nonetheless, if dancing is what you're after, and you don't want to deal with the west London bottle scene or face the Dalston hipster and their haircuts or navigate the City's bankers, this is the spot for you.
