Tom’s Kitchen

Popular chef Tom Aikens’ second London restaurant is just a stone's throw away from his other spot and is four floors of affordable, casual all-day dining and drinking (yes, just what London needs more of, all day boozing!) Seriously though, this lovely 90- seat brasserie also features a bar and games room, two private dining rooms sponsored by Dunhill and a tasting room for cheese and wine sessions (headed up by head chef Ollie Couillaud and sommelier Gearoid Devaney. Couillaud cooks up Brit dishes such as roast pork cutlet with caramelised apples, cider and grain mustard sauce, braised pigs trotter, minced beef and onion pie, goujons of sole with tartare sauce, sticky toffee pudding, and rhubarb fool. There's also French bits; charcuterie, sandwiches such as croque madames, and casseroles such as cassoulet and blanquette de veau. With main courses from just £8 there's simply no reason why not to try this spot.
