These days glamour and booze has got everyone by the hair. This little drinking shop is Paul Devitt's original New York inspiration. He loved the beauty parlour concept so much that he put one in L.A. and San Francisco. The bar's main seating area is a makeshift manicure station with hovering hair dryers and fixtures lining the wall from the vintage Basque House of Style. You might still catch Christina Ricci and Dave Navarro bellying up to the bar but mostly this crowd is late 20s, young 30s eclectic - better than the crowd at the Manhattan version - and reminiscing over somewhat watery drinks to the tunes of good ole 80s punk and ska.
