A Santa Monica beach house getaway for Ms. Driver, Ms. Richards (Denise not Ann), Mr. Pacino, Mr. Tyler (Steven not Richard). This spot at the end of the street is not only secluded, it's actually much closer to LAX than some of the Sunset choices so this is the place if say you get in late at night or if being near the studios is not your first priority. With spa ONE by designer Michael S. Smith, the six treatment rooms and two wet rooms with built-in tropical rain showers make this a place to recover and rejuvenate. We also like the Departures Services, taking care of our boarding passes, refueling our rental car, and giving us driving instructions, in-air reading materials and on-flight meals (now that the airlines think you can go a full day without food) and the Beach Concierge Service which will bring you bites, boogie boards and bicycles. Pristine Santa Monica and the beach are after all ideal summer family destinations.
