Oasis Tapas
611 N. La Brea Avenue

The Moor-influenced Moroccan and Spanish tapas place that is Oasis has chef William Annesley (Tangier) serving up some of the spiciest tapas dishes we've ever had. The clams and ham in chili sauce. My oh my. Curry fries. Oh dear. Although all tasty, we were much relieved when we got to the tuna and watercress salad. Spotted under the metal mesh canopies and purple tent on one Arabian Night? Gavin Rossdale of Bush, or rather Mr. Gwen Stefani.
