Sugarfish 11640 San Vicente Blvd 310 820 4477 There's really only one way to go at this spot by Sushi Nozawa, which is omakase. You can do the small, medium or large sizes in terms of how many course you want. Though you shouldn't expect anything ground- breaking (think scallop, yellowtail, toro and a blue crab handroll), the fish is always incredibly fresh and succulent. The rice in the sushi is just hot enough and the marinades tangy without being overwhelming. Some pieces are so buttery they melt in your mouth, and you typically don't walk away hungry. They now have locations downtown as well as other outposts around Los Angeles so those not in Brentwood can experience it as well. We just happen to like this one the best. |
