The bar in the Hotel on Rivington distinguishes itself in only one key way. There's no rope, no list so what remains to be seen is whether the Lower East Side has gentrified itself enough that the double digit cocktails keep flowing. The scruff remains as does the vintage rock shirts, other than that, this place screams Whiskey wannabe.
