Once the Star Room and before that Serena, this quite fun space under the Chelsea Hotel is given new life - and a sleek new look with wood accents, and those now ubiquitous under- bench drawers and low bottle service tables. What works delightfully this go- around is the no- attitude DJs they've brought in, who play the classics but also those great dance songs that it can be hard to find in snooty Manhattan spots. The door still seems intimidating but is surprisingly friendly and welcoming and once inside, a good time - and a late time - is had by all.
