This casual cocktail bar from Michael Sinensky and chef Jason Bunin has shifted away from a restaurant destination into a bit more of a wine bar. Right off Union Square, this spot (which also has at least a dozen craft beers, four kinds of absinthe and some delicious spirits such as a Charbay whiskey) serves food at their high stools and tables which work for dates or small groups equally. But while they do good nibbles, it's really the sort of place that makes for a great end- day have a glass stop, a longer date, meet up with some friends, all kinds of occasions that call for something not too sceney.
