This quiet, intimate and dark inside bar at the New York Palace, is perfect for a date, or quite frankly an assignation. Glamourous and dark, it evokes the moment when this hotel became known for being on Gossip Girl. It's still luxurious and will endure, if for no other reason than it's a nice place to have a good bourbon. The Trust however, isn't cheap. Cocktails and nibbles are trust- fund prices. That said, it's still worth bringing someone from out of town here to see what New York does well in elegant bars.
