Andaz Wall Street

A lot of thought has been given to create the peace that emanates from the Andaz Wall Street. There is thought given to the user experience such as the utterly relaxing check-in (you sit, they come to you with a console) and the spa treatments (the cleverly- monikered 15 minute massage or facial 'shares' for those who don't have time for the longer 'stocks') There is thought given to design; the rooms of large plush beds with crisp linens have 360-swivel wardrobes, giant mirrors on the backs of the wide-screen TVs, black-out curtains, one- button lighting settings and wet-room showers. There is thought given to service and billing. A complimentary mini- bar (except the booze); free local calls; a lobby with free- WiFi as well as comp happy hour, tea & coffee and nibbles all day (including the to-go morning muffin or take-away iced tea). All these are standard for them, but we also tested the staff with some odd parcel and business requests - 100% perfect - and so it seems they do a whole lot very, very well here. The result is an endless stream of happy business regulars and mother- daughter tourist teams - who take advantage of the nearby financial centre and South Street Seaport - and leave just a bit more zen.
