Patricia Yeo is a busy busy woman. Two restaurants, a book, a few awards. Phew. However somewhere in between, she managed to do for Pazo what she could never quite do with AZ: make it hot. Is it the new American big dining that restaurants like Eleven Madison Park are? No. Nor is it the tightly run, celeb driven tiny boite made popular by places like Da Silvano Cantinetta. It's somewhere in between. A reliable meal, creative cuisine without being too edgy, and a solid house drink.
