The buzz around ex Versace employee Erica Cohen and restaurant industry vet Celeste Fierro's spot One, is uh, exactly that, buzz. Surrounded by designer shops, touristy French bistros, clubs you can only get to via freight elevator and a mad rush of Upper East siders in the overdeveloped Meatpacking District is this Modern American restaurant. Cohen and Fierro have given it the right elements, with Lionel Ohayon designed interiors and food by Gavin Citron (who's creative menus were sometimes underappreciated at his last spots: Aja, Celadon and Aleutia)...
