This is no ordinary bar. A bit modern (Kobe beef burgers any one) and yet very old- fashioned (Beef Wellington is also part of the - wait, they don't call them tapas - it's sharing plates), this spot is the creation of Richard Wolf (Tao and he created Angelo & Maxie's), Peter Kane (Double Happiness, Happy Ending) and the folks at AvroKO so you can imagine how many stylistic elements came together here. Chef Chris Santos heads up the kitchen which serves everything from oysters Rockefeller, escargot, and French Onion soup dumplings to Bi Bim Bop, Peking Duck and Lettuce Wraps, this place is also a watering hole as Kane would have it - delivering the right music with your Social Tea - made with vodka, Gunpowder green tea and lemon honey marmalade.
