Though it has been around for awhile, we keep coming back over and over and this spot never disappoints. Try the Theomakase tasting menu which is plenty and good. Dishes change on it but we liked the quail dipped in buttermilk and deep fried, served over edamame and shiitake risotto. A yellowtail ceviche over a shiso leaf and shaved ice. The amazing yellowtail tiradito. And lastly a neo-tokyo roll, and a tasty short rib. All winners and becoming more interesting as the chefs seem to be branching out from the Japanese- Brazilian- Peruvian thing with the quail and the rib. Good tropical drinks; lychee caipirinha and the watermelon mojitos are not too sweet companions. As always, ask for the upstairs, especially the deck (though the wooden seats can be tough to endure for a four hour dinner). The only criticism we'd make (hint hint hint) is they could change the CD more often. On the whole, four thumbs up from us.
