In the ENORMOUS 7500 square foot space that was furniture shop Delorenzo 1950 for 25 years, comes Gerard Maione and Seth Weisser's new What Goes Around Comes Around. Unlike their West Broadway space (where stylists and collectors alike find crazy treasures), this spot is dedicated to keeping vintage affordable. Men's and women's leather jackets range from $30-$150. Scarves, shirts, blouses and t-shirts start at $10. There's even $5 bins in the back. However what's missing from this store are two key things. Nowhere to be found is the terrible vintage smell that plagues some "affordable" second hand shops. And clutter has been completely banished. With turn of the century fixtures and display cases, the shop is merchandised in the manner of a beautiful antique store. Clothing is easy to find and the feeling is distinctly 1980s warehouse. In fact, Levi's shorts are $25, much like they were in the '80s. On sale, as well, is WGACA's own collection, though with many dresses now $75 instead of $398. There's even vintage rock and Playboys for sale, completing the nostalgia of this expansive store.
